Biography:
Dr. Stautz was born in Madison, Wisconsin. As an interventional radiologist, he specializes in minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnosis and treat disease. Common procedures include vascular access, percutaneous biopsies, percutaneous drainage procedures, dialysis graft and fistula evaluation, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes.
Dr. Stautz has a long history of achieving distinction in academics as well as sports. Out of a graduating Engineering class of 400, Dr. Stautz was ranked 2nd. He received varsity letters in track and cross country while at Cornell, was an NCAA qualifier and was nominated for the Academic All-Ivy League.
In the Deaconess Health System, Dr. Stautz serves on the Quality Committee.
